Who am I?
My name is Ork de Rooij. I've been an enthusiastic photographer ever since my parents put a cheap compact in my hands decades ago. It is just marvelous to be able to capture something beautiful, and relive the experience later when looking back at the pictures. In the last couple of years I have expanded this to professional photography.

For me, it's people that really make a picture. A single facial expression says more than a thousand words. Capturing that expression in such a way that it still conveys the same message in a picture is a beautiful goal.
